Uploading Files
MediaNest supports images, audio, and video files. Files are stored on AWS S3 and served via a CDN for fast global delivery.

How to upload
- Open the Upload page from the sidebar.
- Drag your file onto the upload zone, or click Browse files to select from your computer.
- Optionally add tags, a description, and choose a destination folder before confirming.
- Large files are uploaded in chunks automatically — you can safely close the tab and return later.
Duplicate detection
MediaNest calculates a SHA-256 checksum for every file. If you upload a file that is identical to one you already have, you will be notified and the duplicate will not be stored again.
