Sharing

Every file you upload can be shared with a direct link. Shared files are served from the CDN and load quickly anywhere in the world.

Making a file public

1. Open the file viewer by clicking on any file.
2. Toggle Public link in the details panel.
3. Copy the URL and share it — anyone with the link can view or download the file.

Revoking access

Toggle Public link off. The CDN URL will stop resolving within a few minutes as the cache clears.

Embedding

Images and audio files can be embedded in other pages using their direct CDN URL as the src attribute of an <img> or <audio> tag.

Download counts

MediaNest tracks how many times each file has been downloaded. You can see this in the file's detail view and in the usage dashboard.
